Handmade ceramic wall vase, that I call a “Wall Pocket”. It holds water for your favorite flowers or it works just as well without flowers, and can just be wall art. And as a bonus, the bunny does not require feeding. The “Yes!” is to say the bunny will conquer the giant carrot. 6.5” x 6.25” x 1.5”

Sgraffito in Italian means to “scratch”. It is a surface decorating technique produced by applying layers of color or colors to leather hard pottery and then scratching or carving away areas to create shapes, images, patterns and texture, revealing the clay color underneath. This bunny is so confident, it knows it can conquer the giant carrot. Yes! Velvet underglaze was used for the colors. After bisque firing a clear glaze was sprayed on the surface, and fired again. There is a hole on the back to allow for easy hanging of the piece. Sometimes with a cup of tea late at night, music playing in the background, I find I can carve for hours. The possibilities are limitless.
